Redline

Not realistic, but I just tried to get some anatomy in there. The best advice for a beginner is to practice and look at reference pictures of your animal/subject. Without practice or referencing some things you won't be able to accurately draw them.

Sorry I didn't draw the hair, I'm not too good with hair and just wanted to focus on the major parts ^^

Problems to work on:

*Muzzle - Muzzles are so short and aren't that thick. You should have the top jaw (The biggest part) then drops into the 'chin' or bottom jaw. The bottom jaw includes the mouth where you should include some sort of line or 'lips' as I did to indicate that your character has a mouth.

*Eyes - Eyes can always be stylized. So if you're going for the chibi/anime thing go all the way. A oval isn't really an eye shape. And there are so many type of eye shapes to experiment with so have fun :]!

*Chest and shoulder - I saw that your drawing didn't have a neck. It went straight into the chest. Which I know wolves are fluffy, but really try and define more where the neck is whereas the chest. Because the chest has the ribs/chest plate and such, so it sticks out more..if that make sense? More than the neck. So it should be defined where the neck starts and leads into the chest. The shoulder seemed nonexistent as well, and if you want, try to define it more as well. Shoulders can be covers by fur, but they shouldn't be defined as a tuft of fur, and a straight line going into the leg. Remember there's muscle everywhere! Try to make sure you stick by it.

*The ears - It's common to see the ears starting at the very back of the head, but in reality they don't (And don't get me wrong I still make this mistake too.) But try to match the start of the ear base to the eyebrow or top of the stop of the face.

*Muscles - A lot of people don't do 'em, so I'm not saying you have to, but it can add depth and expression to your subject. Like how I did on the face.
