Colorful boxes surround me,
Christmas tree lights astound me.
I stare up in awe,
With a wide open jaw,
At all the snow falling around me.
The presents I got,
The lessons I was taught.
The presents I gave,
The memories not forgot.
I wish that Christmas was every day,
But sadly it has to go away.
This truly was a Christmas delight,
Now to sleep, for it is night.
