♦ American Jewel Wolves, or AJWs, are a rare species only found in Northern Alaska. They are rarely seen by humans - they are evasive little creatures, and little is known about them. However, certain people have caught some of these wolves, and are Jewel Wolf Breeders. These people can become rich for selling this rare species. However, one day a strange thing happened - all of the AJWs everywhere escaped. They found their place back in their native home in Alaska. Now they are only seen wild, and no one dares to try to capture one. Their numbers have increased dramatically, and their colors are now more varied.
♦ American Jewel Wolves are a very small species of wolf. They only grow to be about a foot tall and always seem puppyish, giving the species the alias of the "Neverland Wolves". This species usually only weighs 10 too 20 pounds. They also have a small jewel at the end of their tail which appears to float, which gives them their name. Really, this ball contains their soul and is virtually unbreakable. However, at death, the AJW's jewel will break open, freeing the spirit. The older the AJW is, the weaker the jewel is. If it is broken, it will cause death.
♦ AJW's breeding season is late April to early July. In this time, a female AJW searches for a male AJW and finds a mate. Then, the male lives with the female until the kits are born. There are usually one to five kits in a litter. After birth, the kits have no jewels - for now their soul rests in their body - and are blind and deaf. The mother takes care of them until they are a year old, and then abandons them. In very rare cases, the mother may stay until they are two. In even rarer cases, the father will live with the mother until she abandons the kits.
♦ AJW's speak in yips, howls, yelps, whimpers, snarls, and barks, much like the average wolf. However, their tones are noticeably high-pitched. Despite this, their howls are beautiful and even more graceful than an average timber wolf's howl.

2. You can make up to four AJW's for yourself, and one for someone else.
3. You can own a maximum of five AJW's.
4. Do not add shading
5. Do not take off the jewel or my signature
6. You may have to mess around with the layers. I can't name them, sorry.
7. Line edits are allowed (but only minor)
8. Do not join the CAAA just to be able to adopt.

I will do breeding. Come to me with two of your AJW's and I will breed them for free, but I will chose the number of kits. If you want you can breed with someone else's AJW, but please discuss this over PM and not on the thread. You can, however, post advertisements that you want your AJW to breed.
