I was trying to think of which animal represented me best and I decided the cat was probably the closest. I love to lounge around and often purr or mew randomly.
Anyway, the design came from a character I used in a roleplay. I fell in love with the design. You can't see its fullness, but the dark spots continue down the middle of her spine.
Her name is Firyali, meaning unusual or extraordinary in Swahili. I think this fits perfectly not only with the characters markings, but with me personally. I have a very unique name and I'm a very unusual person. This name connects greatly with me.
The color I used for her eyes is probably close to one of my favorite colors. I love blues and blue-greens and this particular color stands out to me, especially on her white fur. White and dark gray are my second and third favorite colors.
I love long hair and I'm hoping mine will grow back out. The gray shade is to match with the rest of her body. If I gave her the same shade of hair as my own, it might look odd.
