I'm reading my sister's manuscript thing.
She's writing a novel, and I'm a "beta" tester for it.lol.
Her characters are really visually striking though, and I couldn't help myself.
I had to do this one.

Her name is alexia, aka Alex.
She has one crippled/undersized wing because she's a hybrid.
Her best friend is a shapeshifter, she goes through a ton of issues because of how she looks.
She finds herself swept up in a journey she never wanted to make, to find help for people she doesn't know. First kidnapped for a bounty, then sold into a labor/slave camp, then escapes and finds herself hunted along with other strange looking/acting people by a king grieving for a child that hasn't died yet. She's a powerfully curious and fierce character.

She does what she thinks is the right thing to do even if it means disregarding all the traditions of her village. Brave but naive. I love this character.

It's a work in progress. Mostly for her hair. She's supposed to look like a humanized calico( my sister says she's supposed to represent all the types of people there are in one body.) but I haven't done the other colors yet. or the birthmarks.
