Anyway, Yeah, I've been MIA from the oekaki board lately, being that I have wrist tendonitis.
BUT, when I saw these dogs... I just... couldn't help myself! I can't work as quickly as I used to though due to the pain. So, I'm going to call it a night, and finish up sometime tomorrow. Anyway, enjoy the WIP~ness!

*Update* Did some more this morning, but I am not sure what direction I wanna go with the bg... Suggestions?

*Update 2* Worked some more. I'm not sure I'm digging this bg... doesn't seem to fit with the color/lighting I did on the dog. May change it back to solid color. Whatcha think?

*Update 3* I think I'm finally finished... I'm satisfied with the bg, although some of the detail is not as noticeable now. WHEW!

This is beautiful.
I think you should leave the background black, as the contrast with the dogs green really makes the dog itself pop, and if you make an actual background I feel it would take attention away from the dog and all its beautiful tiny details.

Is it just me or is it impossible to trade for this store litter?

That was actually the problem I was running into... I had wanted to do a foresty background (sorta suggestive with not much detail) but it just kinda caused the dog to be 'lost' no matter what I did... But on the dark bg, it just seems to be floating there or something. I dunno.

And yeah, I've offered my egg tokens/extra animal eggs/tradegroup stuff for these guys all to no avail. :C
Wish I still had my UR Flower... maybe that would have gotten me somewhere! :6

Why not a duller, grey-brown rocky background? That way it looks more natural, and the dog will really "pop" out at you!
