Veprins(Vep-rins) are an extreamly dangerous species females stand about 2.5 ft tall and males about 3ft tall. They are venomous and only eat meat. The beak like tip contains venom strong enough to kill a full grown bull elephant. The venom is released when the Veprin plunges it into its victim; however, the venom has little effect on others of the same species.

Veprins are rarely seen and can adapt to living most anywhere. Their fur usually camofloges them from their prey. They are swift and silent killers and will run in groups of three to five known as vesks(veh-sks). The crests on the top of their heads can vary altough it is more common to see the three prongs.

In ancient times the top of a Veprins head, known as the mask, was thought of as a sacred relic. The clansmen of those times would use the masks as actual masks in cerimonies and as war masks. Some even had rights of passages that required their young men to go out and kill a veprin in order to call themselves true warriors; however, many of the clansmen were killed through this ritual. Now it is illigal to hunt a veprin for it's mask and should only be killed if they are attacking someone, and then it must be reported. The masks of Veprins can be found on the black market for a hefty price as well as live veprins.
