Here my redline. c:
I'm not that good at explaining but I'm going to try.
I'm not that good at explaining but I'm going to try.
1. FLUFF yes, make JBDs fluffy. Fluff is good.
2. The neck fluff - this part right here is a good way to separate the neck from the body. See how mine goes just a little bit further?
3. The head shape - JBDs have a pretty flat head. There's not too much of a dip for the forehead.
4. Make sure to show all 4 legs. Depending on if you have some kind of background/setting or not. Drawing without backgrounds tend to have all 4 legs present.
5. The base of a JBD tail always has some fluff showing.
6. *optional* JBDs have pouches, some artists include this feature on their lines, some don't.
7. *optional* I always like to draw JBDs with a little bit of fur going off of their forehead-ish area. Again, some artists do, some do not.
8. The paws are something that each artist does differently. Some do canine paws, with/without claws. While others try to do the JBD finger paws.
Most things are just the artist's interpretation, there's no set way on how to draw a JBD. Everyone's style is different. ^-^
