Child of the wilderness
Born into emptiness
Learn to be lonely
Learn to find your way in darkness
Who will be there for you
Comfort and care for you
Learn to be lonely
Learn to be your one companion
Never dreamed out in the world
There are arms to hold you
You've always known your heart was on its own
So laugh in your loneliness
Child of the wilderness
Learn to be lonely
Learn how to love life that is lived alone
Learn to be lonely
Life can be lived, life can be loved alone
Completely spontaneous drawing...I started out trying to draw a wolf from front profile, then, after finishing the sketch, found that it looked a lot more like a German Shepherd or Czechoslovakian wolfdog; I chose the former breed for this one.
Halfway through colouring, I was considering looking up some references for the colour, and my mind darted to BayloneRose's comic, "Strayz", which happens to have a German Shepherd as one of the characters. So, I figured, why not make it that way?
So here you have it, it's Raella from Strayz, though if you prefer to think of it as a different dog, maybe the one sitting on your couch next to you or the one that lives in the house down the road that you always talk to after school, regardless, I hope you enjoy this! I know it's very simple, and if it doesn't belong in Intermediate please feel free to move it down to Beginners.
Song is "Child of the Wilderness" from the Phantom of the Opera musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber. I don't know Raella's full back story, but from what I've seen I decided that this song might fit.
