Story-
The dark clouds slowly covered the bright sun, casting the world into darkness. Quartz raised his head slowly warily glancing at the ominous clouds. Prancing nervously he glanced around as a strong wind picked up, tearing at his mane and tail without mercy. Scared of the sudden storm he bolted trying to outrun the rain to his barn. Halfway there though, a loud boom of thunder announced the arrival of the cold hard rain. Shivering he carefully made his way into the dry barn watching the storm from the entrance. Warily he laid down on a bed of dry straw, waiting to see if his owner would come to dry him.
Dragoness leaped out of the car as soon as it slowed to a stop. Pulling on her hood she looked around searching for her only horse, Quartz. He was an albino stallion that she had bought at a rescue auction and was almost always outside in the meadow. Stepping closer to the fence she called his name, hoping to coax him out into the open where she could be sure he was unharmed. Not seeing his colorless coat she started off towards the barn, grabbing a flashlight from the car and cursing the sudden storm. Heaving open the large barn door she stepped inside the dry structure, her flashlight providing the only light. Seeing Quartz laying on a bed of straw, Dragoness pulled a large blanket off a hook and slowly walked over to her stallion. Draping it across his back she sat down, leaning against his side. Together they would wait out the storm.
