There was nothing but flames everywhere, her death would soon catch her up, she knew soon she would be weary and fall, but she kept trying. If she were to survive, her mum would be looking down on her, always.

Good news is that she survives, the bad is her mate kills her later on in the story for betraying him.
Her betrayal was for her cubs by the way
