Many people don't tend to see the worth in their art because they know of their own limitations and everyone has art of their own that they both do and don't like.

She never said she hated it, only that she didn't like it.

Not to mention, an artist tends to have to warm up to designs, I know I do. It will take a few days to get a feeling for it. It isn't being too downcast, simply expressing feeling towards a drawing.

There is no issue with liking, or not liking your own art.

umm i really wasn't saying i hated it? i was just saying that i didn't happen to like this design and i know i've designed better.

and how you say if i hated it why did i enter.. i entered because i want to be an artist for the species. just because i dont happen to like the design doesnt mean im going to let it go to waste.
