Story:When Pilot entered the gates for the first time her hooves nervously struck the ground a few times before excitement set in.She was determined to make a good impression on her first race.She wanted to be remembered.When the buzzer sounded and the gates flashed open Pilot was a blur of bay along with most of the horses she was racing against.She stayed close to the back,as this was her game plan all along,and waited until the time was right.The filly in the front was a white thoroughbred marked with the number 5.When the time was right she felt her jockey let her out and a burst of speed exploded from her.She roared past the horses in front of her enaring number 5.Adrenaline pulsed through her veins and she picked up speed with every beat her hooves struck on the ground.All too soon she ran side by side with number 5 and kicked her speed up another notch.She thundered past number five and turned the next bend well in front of the other fillies.She raced across the finish line and tossed her head in victory.She was sure she had made an impression on everyone at the race that day and she had also struck worry and uncertainity inot the minds of the other horses who might as well feared their next race with Pilot.
