There's so much to talk about, but speaking just of me, that's kind of useless... My username is Sparrow, and that is, and has always been my nickname in real life as well. I'm a Semi-Literate roleplayer in High School. I do play soccer, not that many people dub it as a sport... >.> I've got a lot of family problems, so I use my online life to just get (hide would be a better word) away... My characters, they're like my babies, always spoiled with art and such. <3 In his story, Sparrow is his human, as I will be. But enough about me..

Image
I know, at times, it can be hard to tell, but this Tohopka's a brute, although he loves to keep the mystery alive... His name is Fiero which, in Spanish, means Wild. Fiero is a wild child, and a perfect example of his species's ability to keep child-like behaviors, even throughout adulthood. The brute may act young and reckless, but he's actually Three Years Young.

Image
There are so many ways you could describe Tohpoka #14, but we're here to talk about the first glance. Fiero has a rusty-brown base coat, that which harbors his other markings. On the edges of his more plush fur, and on the outsides of his feet, he has darker brown accents, giving him a look that makes him seem almost burnt. Fiero has bright yellow almost tiger-like stripes up on his head, on his back, running down to his tail, and also on the lower half of his four paws. His mane, tongue, and eyes are all a dark blue-ish purple, making him seem a bit on the wild-side, and giving him great contrast to his light-colored markings. Although his eyes are a navy blue-ish-purple, he is blind in his left eye, and it's visibly clouded. At first glance, Fiero is a scary creature, one that may be mistaken for an aggressive Tohpoka, but looks are deceiving.

Image
Of course, when you get to know him, even if you come to not like him after that, everyone seems to pick and choose the traits they cherish and the ones they turn their head to, luckily, Fiero has more desirable traits than non. One thing's for sure, he's very outgoing and doesn't ever hold his tongue. While that may not be the best thing in many other's eyes, it's what makes him friends, and enemies. He's never been one to act more adult-like, he's wanted to stay young forever, and bring the best out in even the more older Tohpokas. The brute has a soft spot for the elderly, and wont hesitate to lend a hand, even if they're not all that kind. Fiero is fun to be around, always cracking jokes, and living to the best of his abilities. He can be encouraging to others, even the skittish and the shy. When needed, he can be patient and caring, something that isn't really seen often from such outgoing personalities. He's a good friend to have, and his loyalty to his friends will be undying and he will protect them in any situation, no matter how dark. Being good with words is Fiero's strength, he can usually gain trust and respect very quickly, but like anyone, he can loose it in a wag of a tail.

Image
Dark sides may not just be that dark animal hidden beneath, but the darkness of others, and the blindness they create. Fiero's confidence, loyalty, and trust in others can be misleading. He's prepared to stand and fight in what he believes are his friends, therefore he's quite easily manipulated or taken advantage of. Being quick with words, he may not always think before they come out, and it's not rare that he slips something he meant to keep in his head, or he explodes on a friend after a while of it building up. Like nearly every other creature, the brute can get jealous. Always being the center of attention, he can get a bit moody and angry when he's not always being admired, or even hated. A young one he is, or in his mind anyways. Fun and Adventure are always on his mind, what's the next place he'll be traveling, the next exciting thing he's going to do, not where's my food and shelter going to be coming from, or even simply, when will I be settling down. He thinks like a young being, an irresponsible, mostly unreliable when it comes to remembering things. Fiero's most definite blind spot is his protectiveness over his human. Any threat to her and it'll send the brute into a rampage and he'll end up taking everything out in his way.

Image
No one really knows another unless they've grown up around them, and even then you can't always tell. Fiero shares his history with no one, and there's good reason for it. As a young pup, he had another sibling, although she passed away after the first night. Fiero's mother was a very sweet, submissive Tohopka, but he could not claim the same title for his father. The very opposite for what the species stands for, his father was a disgrace, a cold, heartless, abusive brute. He used his size, strength, and wits to get what he want, and that meant a son to carry on his dark ways. At first, Fiero's mother protested, saying he wouldn't let her son grow up to be like his father, but all the while she fought, it just got worse for her. His father beat him in an attempt to show him the hardness of life, and the endurance it took to overcome it. He was barely fed, and every minute he was alive was a lesson that he was being taught, a very harsh and cold lesson.

For months, he was Fiero learned to be cold and heartless like his father. His mother still tried to put up a fight against his father by attempting to tell him stories of adventure, of the lands vast and wide, and sharing the hope she had for him to get away and explore those lands. One night, Fiero's father came home early and heard the story the fae was telling his son, and as a punishment, he beat her within an inch of death, then he turned to Fiero.

Being good with his words as well, Fiero's father convinced him that she was the problem, she was the one who was creating his weakness, the one dragging them down, and that she had to be killed. He had told his son that he was sparing the honor he could have himself by letting the pup kill his mother. With eight months of training to be just like his father, at the first sign of pride and a glint of him being proud, Fiero wanted to please his father and with barely flinching, he carried out the task. Afterwards, his father trusted him enough to give him evening off to do as he pleased. When Fiero was given the chance, he wandered far, and ended up coming upon a cabin. There he met a young female human, one that offered him food gently, and even though at first he didn't take it, he could sense her patience and respect for him. Eventually, after a week of him coming back and curiously checking her out, he finally took a treat from her hand. After she gently patted his chest, he went back home, only to come back and do the same the next day. A while passed until he was actually quite happy to see her on a daily basis, wagging his tail and panting happily when he arrive. He took the treat gently and rolled over to allow her to pet him. A ball was introduce after a while and Fiero slowly got the concept of playing, at first being protective over the ball, but soon growing into the idea of bringing it back for her to throw. His human even taught him a few tricks, but that couldn't prepare him for what happened next. His human put a collar and tags on him, and soon enough he stopped going back to his den in the wild with his father, staying with his human.

Fiero's human taught him to love and nurture things rather than to be pushy and impolite. He realized soon after that what he'd done was terrible, that what his father had taught him was the root of his evils, that his words were lies put in his head for him to carry out his father's dirty work. One fall evening, when Fiero and his human were playing fetch, he had ran into the woods and jumped to pick up his ball. When he went to lift his head, a growl arose, and he realized he'd just picked up a ball at the paws of his father. His father was furious that he hadn't come home, but soon pieced everything together and was like a true hell-hound, and a bloodthirsty one. When a whistle was given for Fiero to return, the human wasn't greeted by her new companion, she was greeted by his heartless father. Powered by protection and loyalty, Fiero fought for his human with such intensity that it overpowered his father's darkness, one that so many had died at the paws of. He left the brute lying bloody and battered on the ground, but his father still kept trying to go for his son's human, until his dying breath. Fiero and his human were shaken up by the commotion, but it had actually brought them closer than he could ever imagine being to any other, but
every victory had it's sacrifices, and Fiero's was his left eye, lost when his father went for his head, missing a kill-bite only because the brute took a step back.

Now, nearly two years after the indecent, it's something he's buried quite deep. Most of his time is spent out with his human, hiking, climbing, camping, playing, all-in-all, adventuring. Fiero turned out to be outgoing, despite his history. He's kind and considerate towards others, something that he was never taught to be in his first eight months of life, but what he learned in the time afterwards. And while he'd make a darn fine friend towards anyone, he can be made out to be a very, very dangerous enemy to have as well.

Image
Right now, there is nothing really else for me to add on account of me being completely brain-dead. I may add a poem or art in the future, depending on when the final ending date is for (what I consider) him. Other than that, I have to wish any other contestants, good luck. :P ~~Edit~~ Here's a tad bit of art. ^_^ Although I'd prefer you totally didn't look at it.. I'm much better with traditional. D:

Wow. Just wow you earned him.

Sorry if I'm not posting often. I've got a few things going on in real life. I've also been having week-long migraines so bad that I cannot see. I hope everyone understands.
