I've seen many people ask "how do i get through this?" The problem is, you can't. I mourned my dead uncle for years now, about 5. But you will gradually feel softer to the situation, until you can think about it and not cry, but will still feel sad.

Advice for your friend on how to cope:

Remember the good times. Not the sad times of grief. It's not going to fill the hole in her heart and the blanket covering her if she thinks "why did it happen?" or "was it my fault?" She needs to know her sister is in a better place. Whatever happened was her way of ridding herself of all the pain she was experiencing. The one thing you should find out is what was happening with her life. Was she being bullied? beaten? The root of the problem should be found and stopped before anything like this ever happens. One thing to tell her: don't hold in the tears, just cry. Let it out. Also tell her I'm really sorry for her.

Beautiful comment, and I agree. This is exactly what she should do. Just tell your friend to remember all of the good times she has had with you. <3 What you can do, is tell her this advice. Let her deal with it, for if you talk to her too much about it, if she has too many reminders, all she will do is feel worse, and worse, and worse. Try to talk about it as little as possible, or else she will feel horrible, and sad. And may never forget this horrible death. I am very sorry for her, and you. Hope times get better... <3
