Here's my entry! Information about the specie here:

Name of Species
Sionnach.
Looks:
The sionnach are about the size of a large dog, with long, thin limbs and a slender, flexible body. They have a second spine sticking out of their back and continuing down towards their tails, where it splits in three tails. This is an incredible flexible exoskeleton, as their "real" spine is easily shattered. No one knows why they developed a second spine instead of just improving their old one.
They have a very small number of teeth, which they keep their whole life. The reason is that they only need the teeth in order to bite through the skin of their victims - and from here, they will swallow their pray whole.
They have a long, thin tongue, which is often hanging out of their mouths - hence, they have a tiny hole between their lips. No one knows why it's hanging out of their mouths, but there are a lot of theories behind it. Their tongue almost always match their glowing eyes and pawpads.
Personality:
The sionnach are very shy, but intelligent creatures. If you manage to befriend it, you can keep it as a pet for the rest of it's life. However, tame sionnachs are incredibly rare, as they will most likely flee from you on sight.
They are most often found living a mate. When they have cubs, the cubs will stick around their parents for as long as possible, until they find their own mate. Once they choose their mate, they will not find a new one: They stick with their mate for the rest of their lives.
They also form very strong bonds, not only with their families, but also with friends. Seeing a group of 4+ sionnach playing together is not uncommon.
Habitat:
They live everywhere - mainly in forests though.
Noises:
Usually, they are very quiet, unless angered. In that case, they will make a series of snarling noises and growls in order to scare the offender away.
A very distinct sound they also make, is rattling their visible bones(the spine/tails). This is usually a noise they make in order to show affection.
Abilities:
The sionnach are excellent hunters and are incredibly quiet when walking or running. They have two sets of front legs, but usually pull the front ones against their body when travelling. The reason is, that the paws are built slightly different than the other four, enabling them to grab things or their pray, and carrying it around.
Furthermore, their teeth and jaw functions much like a snake. First of all, when biting, they inject their victim with a venom, which makes the blood coagulate. This will kill their victims efficiently. Secondly, it is able to dislodge their jaw, allowing it to swallow large pray without taking it apart. This, along with their extra set of front legs, gives them the ability to travel while eating.
Diet:
Their diet consists mainly of small birds, mice and even rats. Sometimes, even larger cats or hares.
