It was the year of 4328, a long time since the humans have roamed the land of Earth. The humans have killed each other off because they had all given in to the darkness that started to take over this land, so we creatures, big and little, new and old, still walk here. Since the humans left, we have seen the planet change in wondrous ways from where the grass has gotten to a shade of purple and to the water that is a bright crystal blue. But with that change, the four seasons, Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall, have also changed. When the Winter season comes, no animal hibernates, nor does it drop below 0, but it does snow, and the plants will not freeze. The Summer season, it is hot still, but it is bearable, no plant will wither and die from the heat. The Spring season, is where every animal seeks mates, so there really isn't much of a change there, it also rains a lot more than normal. The Fall season, is a time where the families start to settle down their offspring and to start to gather food for the winter, but nothing hibernates anymore, as told before. But ever since the rot of man was here, the Earth has been degrading fast, and there is nothing that we animals can do about it. With the premonition that the Earth will soon be nothing, we have taken mental notes that the land is growing at a fast rate and that the water is disappearing. It will not be long before we all are wiped out of existence.
We were born into this word by the hands of man, when they had rules these lands, but ever since they had killed themselves into nothingness, we, the animals, took over. I, am Magnus, the Elder and Shaman of my species, and one of the first and only original ancestors left alive. Let me tell you the story of my species. We were experiments by those nasty humans, they wanted to play god and to mess with the laws of nature. But what the humans didn't realize was that they were messing with something that sped up the process of that race dying out so fast. We are the carriers of the Black Plague, but we are also made up of a mixture of poor innocent creatures. My race has long forgotten what we are made up of, but let me explain it to you, we are made up of Feline, Canine, and the Black Plague. We got our masks from that single gene in our bodies, that disease that kills humans, we are a unique species. My race, every single one of us, are never the same, our Fur, the common color is cream or tan, but I was born special with a deep brown that signify's that I am close to the earth. Now, to tell the difference between gender is that the females are more thinner and they have a shorter tongue than the males, and the males are more bulky, and their tongues wrap around their throats. When offspring are born, their noses are shorter, and their tongues are the same color as the fathers, the fur color, however, is the same color as the mother's but it can also have some of the father's color in it as well, like a mixture or in spots. The most a family can have, is up too four offspring, but by a rare chance, there can be a fifth offspring. Now, moving onto our diet, we are vegetarians, but we can eat meat, though we do not have the ability to hunt, it is a rare chance that we eat any kind of meat. At the present time, I am the only Shaman, and I am currently looking, and hoping that soon there will be another that will join me. Some of us are gifted, I am gifted with the Elements, all Shamans are gifted with all of the Elements, but by some chance there will be a few offspring that have one affinity for the elements. Those Elements are, Air, Fire, Earth, Water, Spirit, and Ice. We will distinctly know which offspring will have at least one of those elements by how they are born, they have a different appearance than the normal offspring of my species. With our race growing, we do not stay in one place for very long, we travel together from place to place. But with me being a Shaman, I have been having constant visions about a place that we are being drawn too, and that place is one of great evil, but with each growing day, we grow closer to that place and the spirits are trying to tell me to keep away, that the evil will doom us all. Since we grow closer to that place, I fear that we all will be killed.
Only rare items are given to those that have proven themselves in a way that the Elder feels that it will change their species in some way.
