What are Dreamcatcher Guardians?
Dreamcatchers Guardians are small fox-like creatures, you might have heard of a dreamcatcher actually. They were small frames decorated with beads and feathers, used by Indians. It was a belief that if you hung the dreamcatcher beside your bed they would catch all the bad dreams or ‘nightmares’. The Dream Catcher Guardians are tiny little foxes, that guard the dreamcatchers themselves. They have a moon pendant hanging off their tail, and a moon bracelet hanging off their left paw. These are tokens, enhanced with magical powers designed to help protect the Dreamcatcher Guardians.
Well ok…what do they look like?
Dreamcatcher Guardians can come in any coloring but it depends on what gender they are. The females are smaller than the males, and are designed with repairing the dreamcatchers and maintaining them; they consist of lighter colors, with darker markings. The males guard the dreamcatchers; they consist of darker colors, with lighter markings. Both may be poisoned by bad dreams. If a Dreamcatcher Guardian’s moon charm’s power begin to fade they are at risk to be poisoned by nightmares. If they come in contact with a nightmare when their moon charm’s magic is gone then they become dark and wicked like the nightmare itself. A common characteristic of a poisoned Dreamcatcher Guardian is a red iris; there is no cure for the poison, and therefore the infected Dreamcatcher Guardian is cast out from the main dynasty.
