Why is her cutie mark bubbles?: when she was young, her younger sister fell in the ocean and nearly drowned. Seaspray dived in after her, and discovered she could breathe underwater. She dove down farther and rescued her sister. When she came back to shore, she noticed she had gained her cutie mark- bubbles.
