Personality:
Duke's personality is strongly represented by his unique variant design. The several shades of monochrome gray's represent the ordinary, shy, and quiet aspects of his identity. While his hair, tail, eye marking, and colour spectrum flowing through the tips of his Mohawk represent his unique individuality and charisma. He is outgoing yet shy at the same time. He would never approach another character, yet, if one approached him, he'd be more than happy to have a good time with a few jokes and stories. The markings on his rear end and tail are every strong emotion he's ever felt that has etched it's way as a scarred marking into his body. While most people look at scars with hatred and annoyance of the imperfection, Duke views them much differently. Each and every scarred marking is something he's overcome. His scars defined him of who he was, every battle, every tear, every smile, every heart throb, all of these are what made him who he was. And he was proud of it.
History:
(to avoid making this too long, I'll just briefly explain what his history has to do with the drawing :3)
As Duke had slowly started getting older, time had played it's part on Duke's mother. She passed away peacefully at an old age leaving her purple scarf behind for her ever-growing pup. He understood that time takes everyone, but he needed a constant reminder of her, something that felt as if he would always have a piece of her with him. With that, Duke wrapped his mothers scarf around his back leg several times, tying it tight to make sure it'd never fall off. Though of course, like any normal person, Duke would often get greatly irritated, especially when he didn't have his mom there to calm him down anymore. He had furiously decided on getting most of his piercings during the peak of these anger blows. He had only wanted to feel something other than anger rushing through his veins.

I'd definitely like to keep the design if I don't place. I don't believe I have anything further to explain other than the fact that I'm sorry if those are a little too long. I just kinda get carried away when it comes to writing. I tried keeping it as short as possible though ^^'
