Deep within the deepest jungles, in a pristine wilderness untouched by human hands, there lives a creature unlike the world has ever seen.
Recently discovered by intrepid biologist and explorer ~Firebird Rising~, there are few descriptions of this elusive creatures. What follows is an exert from the discoverer's personal journal:
Since making her discovery, Professor Firebird and her assistants have begun to take some Jungle Dragons to the rest of the world and give them to good homes. Here, you can adopt one of these fantastic creatures for your very own!

"Assistants" (a.k.a Artists)
My loyal assistants, who help me "find" Jungle Dragons and put them up for adoption to find good homes! They are the ones who decide how each individual Jungle Dragon can be won and adopted!

~General Rules~
1. No claiming or stealing the art or ideas for yourself.
Please give credit whenever you use these for anything
2. Do not take your Jungle Dragon off of CS
They cannot survive outside in the cold, unfeeling Internet!
3. Follow all CS rules
You should know them, so don't break them!
4. Be nice to others!
Jungle Dragons hate rude, mean people! They'll attack them on sight!
~Adoption and Customs~
Regular adoption for Jungle Dragons is free. To adopt, you simply fill out the the artist's form, and after about a week, the artist will judge all submissions. Any dragons labeled with the sign "Adopt Me" are, obviously, up for adoption, so you can choose from any of those!
If you'd prefer a specific pattern or design for your Jungle Dragon, you can request a custom! Customs cost at least one wishlist pet or item, or whatever you work out with the artist that created your custom. Customs should be finished within a week, and if they are not, please feel free to gently remind the artist who is supposed to do it! To request a custom, fill out the form below! (You can delete anything in parentheses.)

While sketching the various wild birds around the waterfall today, I had an extraordinary encounter! A small creature suddenly fluttered out of the trees and hovered in midair right in front of me! It was about the size of a small monkey, but appeared to be some type of reptile, with a lizard-like body, jewel-bright scales, and tiny claws. However, it had some type of colorful fur running along its spine and limbs, and a furry tufted tail. Its wings were bat-like, but very small, and it beat them rapidly, like a hummingbird, so they appeared to be no more than a shimmering blur. It studied me for several seconds with big, sparkling eyes, and it appeared to almost smile at me, before darting back off into the trees.
And what kind of scientist would I be if I did not follow?! I ran as fast as I could after it, and was afraid I had nearly lost it, when I stumbled into a clearing. There it was! It clambered around the branches of an enormous tree with the deftness and accuracy of a monkey, then suddenly hung from its tail, which appeared to be prehensile, and stared at me once more. For several moments, it stayed like that, and we watched each other from across the clearing. Then, it lifted off with its tiny wings once more, to come and land on my shoulder. As I gently touched its silky-soft fur on its head, I became aware that it was not alone. Other creatures, just like it, dozens of them, hung on the branches around me, all shimmering in a multitude of colors...
I believe- no, I KNOW- I have discovered a new species! What's more, they all appear to be friendly, and easy to tame! I have decided to call them
