story: His eyes make the ocean seem shallow. Elyths eyes are deeper than marinas trench, they are the caves to his personality that have never been explored. Earthy Elyth was admiring the night sky, which was adorned in flocks of shimmering stars. His feathers ruffled, following the pattern of the chilly breeze while the tidal lyres of the ocean kept him at peace. He thought best this way. I had been curious about that poc poc ever since I had found him sitting on the roof. Finally, I decided it was time to follow my gut and pursue the creature. The icy metal ladder that lead to the roof and the unsettled rustling on the trees made the climb a tinge intimidating. However, this was not the moment to bug out. I haul myself over the final awkwardly inserted bar and tip-toe; breath muted. As I place myself behind the mysterious poc poc, I open my eager arms, shaking at the reality of it all. Just as I am about to get hold of Elyth, he abruptly rolls and flings himself off the roof before using his feathers to parachute down the side of the ladder. Heavily sighing, I sit down head in hands wondering what I did wrong. After all, I just wanted the creature as my pet. I begin my climb down. 'All for nothing' I groan. Once I'm down on the ground, I hear a slight whimper, only to see Elyth behind me with remorse in his eyes. He circles around my ankles before lifting his head up and smiling. Always remember never forget, I comprehend.
