Why you picked that name: It means "blue sky." I'm not sure in what language/context, but I came across it and liked it. I chose a name that meant "blue sky" because, to me, the place where I live, the Midwestern US, has the bluest skies on Earth. Not right now, of course, because it's always covered with clouds in the winter, but in every other season, the skies are as blue as can be. It's beautiful. I especially like when there're just a few little clouds scudding across the sky, which is what this Lyar'ki reminds me of.

His deep green eyes remind me of my favorite place on the planet, the state park just a few minutes from home; it's the only place I can go to to escape from, well, everything. Nowhere else is safe, and no where else gives me the joy I feel when being lost in the wilderness. But I suppose that has nothing to do with his actual name. c;

You win, I really like your reason ^^ I recently moved from Oklahoma, so I know how beautiful the skies are in the midwest <3 Here on the western coast, the colors are faded and washed out in comparison.
