Name: Tiah Twinkle Belle (Tiah is her first name, obviously ;D)
Gender: Mare
Personality:Tiah is outgoing, a true social butterfly, but in a suave, well-mannered kind of way. She always remembers to say "please" and "thank you", and makes friends very easily due to how polite she is -- at least, when she wants something. She has been known to throw tantrums often when she doesn't get her way, and has lost a lot of friends because of it, but no one can deny that at first meeting, she is an absolutely charming, beautiful girl. The friends she has managed to hang onto are true ones, ones that really care about their occasionally hot-tempered friend. She has a few odd quirks, like the fact that she hoards jewelry (she has a whole room in her house dedicated to it, and keeps it nice and organized) and her favorite food is fruit snacks, although that is a treat usually reserved for those of a younger age. She's a bit of an actress, and when around people she doesn't know, will act like whoever she thinks she needs to be to make them happy. But truly, on the inside, the real Tiah is an intelligent, lonely young girl who just wants to have as many ponies there to support her as possible. She's quite self-concious, although she never acts it. She loves to dress up and do her hair, and -- of course -- wear her beloved jewelry at every chance! While she makes friends easily, not many of them are male, and she has a harder time talking to stallions. For this reason, she probably won't get a mate for a long time, if at all, although she longs to have a little daughter of her own to dress up and adore. Her dreams are very vivid, and she remembers them for a long time, although she often scribbles them down in the dream notebook she keeps next to her bed. Unfortunately, she gets nightmares just as often and they are just as -- if not more -- vivid, frightening her so bad that she often can't go back to sleep and spends all night fretting about what could happen to her before daylight comes. She's a bit of a worrywart, although not as bad as some other ponies she knows.
Talent:Tiah's talent is making things look good, no matter what. Need her to do your make-up? You'll look like a movie star by the time she's done! Want to see a bubbly but vapid young girl? She knows just what to do to make herself that girl. Want your home fixed up? She'll decorate until you won't even recognize that boring old room! She's been doing things like this since she was a little girl, and has gotten even more skilled at it since she's grown.
Cutiemark:Her cutiemark would be a paintbrush dripping with gold and silver glitter down to her leg, mixing into her markings. She got it at a young age, before a lot of other fillies in her class, and is still very proud of it, because it's a very beautiful and intricate cutiemark -- she calls it her 'beautymark'.
Other:She has a pet cat, a little Siamese she's named "Creampuff". Creampuff wears a golden, glittery collar to match his owner's markings, and often goes everywhere with her. He sleeps on her bed, and rides around on her back when she goes to town, although she's even had a bag especially made for him that lets him ride at her side in comfort in all seasons, keeping him warm or cold as needed. He's a spoiled little kitty and has his own seperate room in Tiah's house with a few cat towers and a fluffy little bed, but despite that, he still often sleeps and plays near his wealthy owner instead. She gives him only the best, and treats him rather like her own fluffy little child.
Favorite Music:Tiah loves pop music, and is always buying the lastest CDs to listen to while she's working on making the whole world a more beautiful place. She often sings or dances along to them, even though she doesn't have the best voice or coordination. When she's alone with her talent, she's a lot more fearless, so she doesn't really care if she's not good enough at it to meet everyone's standards. It's very amusing to watch her!
Absolute Favorite Food:Fruit snacks may be her favorite snacking treat, but Tiah's favorite food is definately spaghetti -- a food you wouldn't neccesarily think of a pretty, elegant mare eating first thing, since it can be quite messy, but Tiah goes head over heels for the dish, especially from a gourmet restauraunt. She's even gotten Creampuff hooked on the stuff, and often he ends up eating more of what she does than his specialty cat food. Her second favorite would have to be banana cream pie, even though it's more of a dessert than food. Sometimes when she's in need of comfort, she'll eat one for a meal even though she knows it's not good for her.
What Does She Look For In A Male?:Well, it's unlikely that she'll ever find a male that she could imagine spending the rest of her life with, if she did go out looking, these are the attributes she would want for her dream mate! <3
Handsome eyes! <3 The more soulful, the better!
A good singing voice, or can play some sort of instrument, preferably guitar, piano, or saxophone!
A light personality, someone who can help her to joke around more and open up.
Someone extremely faithful who would never leave her, and would keep her safe when the nightmares come.
Someone strong, both emotionally and physically.

Story:Tiah woke up, her eyelids slowly fluttering open to see the first rays of sunlight pouring over her bronze comforter, which, in her sleep, had wrapped itself warmly around her like a protective cacoon. She giggled gently as she pushed the warmth of the blanket away, shivering slightly when the barely colder temperature of the air hit her pelt. Slipping out of bed, she immediately felt the familiar warmth and softness of a cat's long fur brushing against her legs. Glancing down, she saw Creampuff's adoring, large blue eyes staring up at her. When he saw her looking back, he let out a hearty purr, then sauntered away toward his food dish, reassured that breakfast was well on its way.
Tiah followed him into the kitchen, her hooves clipping on the linoleum. She yawned, then stretched to the cupboards to grab a can of Creampuff's expensive wet cat food -- it was the only thing he would eat anymore, besides the food she ate, and she knew it would get him sick to have too much of that. She ripped the lid off and spooned the not-bad smelling contents into a little glass dish, even heating it up in the microwave for a few seconds before she sat it on the floor and Creampuff darted over to it for his morning meal, purring even more loudly as he sipped at cold water from his refreshing little fountain that had been plugged into the wall. Satisfied that her cat was well-fed once more, Tiah, stomach grumbling and complaining, set out to find her own delicious breakfast in the kitchen.
She was grabbing some eggs and cheese from the fridge to make herself some scrambeled eggs when something across the street caught her attention. Clutching the items to her chest, she managed to awkwardly shut the fridge, then waddle over to the counter, dropping her burdens on the top of it and peering out of her little kitchen window curiously.
Across the street was the most handsome male she had ever seen in her life. Okay, so maybe she was exaggerating, but only a little. She knew the type very well, there were a lot in this neighborhood -- all brawn, no brain. This one had a dark pelt that glittered and glistened in the sunlight, and a long, even darker, shaggy mane. Her heart skipped a beat as he raised his head up from looking at the newspaper he had just fetched from the edge of the road and looked right at her, his bright, engaging emerald green eyes boring into her's. For just a moment, she felt a spark, and he smiled charmingly and gave her a little wave, which she managed to return, despite the fact that she was feeling increasingly dizzy looking at him. Then, suddenly, he chuckled and turned around, and Tiah saw a mare bounce out from inside the slightly smaller, but beautiful house across the street, and throw her arms around his neck warmly. The two of them embraced and kissed, before the mare turned around and saw Tiah staring, her mouth agape, eyes filled with sorrow. The other mare was stunning, a lithe, pale one, with long, dark hair pulled back in a messy ponytail that managed to look elegant, only a soft pink robe draped over her form.
The mare let out a snicker -- Tiah could hear her through the thin glass of the window -- and gave her a playful little wave, then kissed the male again and winked at him. He trotted obidiently inside, and the mare gave Tiah a little 'lucky me, I guess he's mine!' smirk. Not for the first time in her life, Tiah wished she had the ability not only to make things beautiful, but to make them ugly, as well.
Turning away from the window, Tiah sighed and inwardly cringed. "
I'm beautiful on the outside," She whispered to herself, slowly sliding down the wood cupboards to the floor, "
But I'm ugly on the inside!"
~
Several hours later Tiah was done eating her breakfast, had done the dishes, and gotten ready to go into town. Her hair was put into a messy but cute little bun, her bright eyes accented by a bit of violet eyeshadow, and her specialized saddlebag was carefully fastened into place at her side, a deep brown that went well with her light pelt. Creampuff hopped inside -- dragging along one of his favorite toys, a tiny stuffed mouse -- and purred happily. Tiah tried to snatch the mouse away from him, but Creampuff narrowed his eyes and let out a little hiss as he hid it in the farthest corner of the bag. Sighing, Tiah knew she'd just have to let him take it along, even at the risk that he'd lose it while playfully dangling it out of his carrier, then be extremely sorrowful later.
"Ready to go, Creampuff?" She cooed, and the little cat wagged its tail like a dog, bobbing his head. With that, Tiah left her house, carefully locking the door behind her and tucking the key into the pocket of her simple white sundress. She glanced forlornly at the house across the street, but the lights were off and the blinds pulled shut. There was nothing to see.
It was only about a mile's trot down the road into town, and Tiah was there in an instant. The tiny place was bustling with life on the busy Saturday, everyone rushing around to get errands and chores done, and Tiah felt like the only sane one there. Even Creampuff kept a careful eye on the ponies around him, distrustful. When they accidentally brushed too close against him, he'd let out a soft hiss and warningly swat at them with a paw, claws sheathed. No damage was done, but it was enough to make a few rushed ponies stop and take a second glance at the furry poofball of a cat, his blue eyes glittering with annoyance.
They stopped at the pet shop to soothe poor Creampuff, who was so terriffied of all the strange ponies, he had never been out in traffic this busy before. Just the ringing of the little silver bell on the door seemed to instantly calm him, and he spent about half an hour wandering around the store, leading Tiah as though SHE were the pet, meowing loudly when he found something he liked. They walked out several bags heavier and several dollars shorter -- not that it was that big of a deal. Just a few new toys, in particular, a little stuffed kitty to be a friend to the little mouse he had insisted on bringing along. Thankfully, after they left, he fell asleep in his comfy bag, and Tiah did a bit of shopping for herself in peace. She bought a cute new sundress, along with a new pair of sunglasses to match, and a few cheap pairs of earrings that caught her eye in a little new shop that had opened only a few days before.
After that, she and Creampuff (who had just woken up from his nap and was quite refreshed, a lot less grumpy) ran to the deli to get some yummy stuff to make lunch with before heading home. The sun was already starting to set, and Tiah realized they would be making dinner, not lunch! They had been gone a lot longer than she thought, and the idea of losing herself in shopping made her blush.
She was so concentrated on wondering where the time had gone, she ran right into something, and fell flat on her rump. The concrete was hard, but not nearly as bad as the feeling of burning in her cheeks as she blushed furiously, spotting the handsome male from that morning above her, staring at her with concern. "Are you alright?" He asked. She just smiled and nodded and began to stand, but he grabbed her hoof gently and helped her up as she dusted herself off, still blushing like mad. "That was quite the spill you took there. Next time be more careful where you're walking, okay?"
His almost fatherly tone annoyed her, but she muttered, "Okay. Thanks." Then quickly trotted away to the safety of her house.
Inside, she felt the warmth of her home wrap around her. She loved her home, this was the only place that she could truly be herself. She let Creampuff loose -- watching with amusement as he trotted away, his two prized stuffed toys clutched in his toothy jaws -- then went in and got much more comfortable in a pink-and-white striped nightie. She was exhausted from walking around all day, and knew she wouldn't get much sleep if she didn't try.
So she ran to her bed and jumped into it excitedly, like a little filly again, giggling as she landed on the soft, feather-filled pillows. She snuggled into the warmth of her comforter, the chill of night coming on again. It was only a few moments before Creampuff forgot about his new toys and jumped up onto the bed beside her, finding his customary place curling himself around her head on the biggest of her pillows, purring her a soothing lullaby until her eyes fluttered shut and she fell into a deep, restful sleep.
