I tried to take a few things from your list and make them complement each other. I would have done a line art or edit, but all I have to work with currently is a track pad.

I wasn't sure if you liked brindle in vivid colors but I gave it a go.
I focused mainly on subtle details, like gradating colors. But I also tried to make it stand out with more obvious ones,
like white on color.
