Jasiri mean 'brave' in Swahili. When I first looked at her, she made me immediately think of the horse Joey from war horse. He was a brave horse that never gave up. She makes me think of Joey, her bright red coat, so I named her Jasiri, just like the War Horse.
I also thought Jasiri was a beautiful and catchy name, it flows nicely but tells me that this girl is a brave girl with a big heart.
