Holy mother of sketch. I REALLY REALLY REALLY need help with this...I'm terrified that it looks really good right now...but then I'm going to line it and it's amazing-ness will die.
SO. I'm going to hold a contest for people to line my sketch
Then I'm going to turn this bad-youknowwhat boy (species) into Adoptables! Well....that depends, if you guys had the chance to adopt one of these, would you?
So, in short, this is my version of a Hell Hound. Formally known as Hounds of Abaddon. Abaddon is used in the context of Hell, as I once saw it used in a very amusing book. Now, as a note, there is NO religious connection to these guys. Whether or not they are actual Hell Hounds is for you to decide in your own mind.
Hoa are an unusual sort of creature. They are about the size of a bear, standing 4 feet and 7 inches at the shoulder (on average). They slightly resemble a canine in build, but can not be classified as canines due to their genetic make up and over all structure. They have the an average intelligence comparable to that of a typical 5 year old human, making them many times more intelligent than most other non-human animals. Hoa move in a very cat-like fashion, and over all act much like a tiger in how the move, vocalize, and socialize.
Notable features include the crest of feathers that starts on the forehead and continues mid-way down the neck. They have a snake-like forked tonge and wolf-like teeth. Their ears are about 5 inches long and are narrow. They are long and lean and have very muscular backs and legs. The tail is usually the length of the Hoa's body, and is whip like and often tipped with an arrow or barb of some sort. Most notable are the medium size feathered wings. While the wings could be large enough for actual flight, the bone density of Hoas only allows for gliding over the ground for a distance of about 20 feet. The wings are usually held a little ways from the body, perhaps to help maintain a certain speed while running. The neck is covered in thick fur, but the fur over the rest of the body is very short, giving Hoas a velvetee feel.
Well, I'll be writing more information and setting up the contest
