As it turns out a couple days ago [my] miniature horse Zelda (also known as Zell Bell) had stopped drinking due to the bad weather. It snowed, then it got hot, then it snowed severly, then it got nice out side. She had gotton severe colic, and when the vet came, he said he could save her....for $10,000. Sadly, with no funds, she had to be put to sleep. Zell was my favorite mare, my favorite horse. Not the big mighty fjords, not any other miniature, but her. I had just learned of her death after I got off of work.

I am making a reference sheet for her so I can make art of her and hopefully I can pay people to make art of her, because I want to do a big collage with a bunch of little drawn pictures of her, and hang it on the stall door.

There's no color, I will try to add color later, but for now here are some pictures of her.

I'm sorry for your loss Birch.. She was a cutie. I can relate to your loss. My baby boy Akita (That was his name; Akita) past away last year on September the 16. He was my first dog that belonged to me. He was my world and it hurt really bad when he past. We found him that morning when we where leaving for work and school. I was the first to see him but I didn't know.. I went outside to check the weather and I seen him. He was facing away from me and laying down. I just thought he was sleeping so I left him alone and went back side to get ready. When we where leaving I was last out the door, I heard my mom call to him then say " Oh no.. ". I didn't want to believe he was dead.. But it home when I watched my dad pick him up and carry him out of sight. I still went to school that day. But I checked out 'cause I couldn't handle it any more with everyone asking what was wrong when they seen me. As soon as I stop myself from crying someone would ask and the tears came flowing again.

He is buried behind my house with a big rock marking his grave. My mind played tricks on me every time I went out side for the longest time. I would think I seen him out the corner of my eye and when I turn to look he wasn't there.

So sad :C My fist horse, Rocky, had to get put to sleep too because the stable hand wasn't paying attention and let him slip in a ditch, breaking his hip. He was an old boy :C

That's ok :'C I owned him when I was 5 years old, so that's 10 years ago. I only remember crying when he was put to sleep and jumping him in one show. That's it. My mom told me that we were best friends. I'm so sorry to hear about Zell, she has almost the same markings (except for the stripe) as a cow at the stable I board my 3 mares at c:
