The lines you see here are for my new, alien species; the kartheans, karth for short, from the planet Aradris.
Karthean characters will be put up for adoption here, and I'm hoping to find some artists to help me design them.
Just to make it clear from the start, you can enter and you can win this contest even if you're not interested in being an artist.
I'd like to ask everyone who enters to put, somewhere in the description for your entry, if you'd be interested in being:
-a full artist.
-a guest artist
(make one or two designs only).
-not an artist.
(If you just want to enter the contest but aren't interested in helping with the adoptables.)

I will choose some of my favourite entries, which will likely include the winners and several others.
If the people who drew those entries are interested in being an artist, either full or guest, I will send them a PM inviting them to help with the adoptables. I will also try to send over some wishlist pets, if I have them, whether or not you want to be an artist.

Here are the guidelines:
- KKarthean's skin is generally grey, though it comes in many different shades and tinted colours. They often have faint spotted or striped patterns. Their hair is naturally light, usually white, grey, or cream. Their eyes are usually bright, warm colours, such as red, orange, and yellow. Dark eyes are possible, but uncommon. Blue, green, or grey eyes are rare.
Kartheans often tattoo their skin and dye their hair in various colours. The hair dye will eventually wash out, though higher quality dyes will last longer. There are two kinds of tattoos. The first are temporary ones, which are often used decoratively in the same way humans use make-up. These can last up to a month before needing to be renewed. Then there are permanent tattoos, usually symbolic, that are often used to mark important events, such as reaching adulthood or becoming bonded to someone.

On the first layer I have a colour palette to give an idea of the kinds of colours I'm expecting. Remember, the natural colours and markings of the species are limited, but their tattoos, hair dyes, and clothes are not!

You click and drag to use it. If you can rotate it fine but it won't save rotated, try going here and making sure you have the right version of ChibiPaint. The second one's the one you want.
{If you don't have a newer version of Java, and can't update it for whatever reason, then you may not be able to use the newer ChibiPaint. In which case you'll just have to switch back to the old one and leave it unrotated.}
