BK: The Strangest Turkey....

Postby Desmond » Tue Nov 20, 2012 4:16 pm

Loosely inspired by a turkey. I had the strangest urge to use the bird's design. xD

When you have too much turkey...
My mom and I usually make a great pasta dish, which I think, is this Turkey Tetrazzini? She kind of has her own spin but this is the basic idea. This is a great bake and warms you up so good on a hot winter's day. This recipe shows it with spaghetti but we usually do it with tagliatelle or tortellini as we're big fans of that in our house.

Love the turkey idea by the way, very festive

As my dad always do(he is kinda lazy to make something fancy smancy) he takes the restovers of the turkey, cuts it up in small square-ishs, cuts up sugarsnappeas, paprika, broccoli and mix it together in in a wok-ish mix with the turkey. Then he adds a small spoon of sweet honey, pepper and salt and tops it with some olive oil and mix it together in cooking pan or a wok pan on hot warmth to the turkey is goldenbrown and the vegetables looks shiny.
Serve it with either peanuts or alone.
There you´ve got a good meal with restover turkey ^^

Well, since I'm a full fledged vegetarian, I don't usually have much to do with the turkey and the food. My mom buys a large one and she makes it for my brother, her, I and my mom's boyfriend's family. We never really have left overs, and they're kind of gross anyway d=
