Where is everyone? Where are you? I wasn't gone for long, was I? You said that you would wait here for me. Where are you? Did you forget about me, too?

When I drew this, I thought of it being someone taken away from her home as a child. A friend had told her to meet up with him there when she got back. Many years later, she returns, but everyone she knew was gone. While she was gone, there had been a plague that had killed everyone.
She stayed there for years, waiting for her friend to come for her. She waits there while she ages, and eventually dies next to the tree. Even as a ghost, she stays, waiting for her friend to return.

Stupid, I know. XD Sorry it is horrible, it's my first Oekaki drawing.
