Warrior Cat

Postby Frozen.Solid » Thu Nov 15, 2012 3:16 pm

Originally this was going to be my Warrior character, but then I gave up, so I guess this is a random Warrior cat?? I'm not sure. I really hate this drawing, so please critic. Please give me advice (I don't like looking up tutorials often, so just some easy advise)
The background was just something I scribbled with the air brush, pay it no mind...

well i really like it, and the colors you picked and the skill you blended them together with is far beyond me, but i have some advice for the legs. the one that's up off the ground, maybe you could cut it into thirds, the first third somewhat straight down, the second one horizontal , and the third one really small, that's the paw. do you get what i mean? other than that, it's really good. keep drawing!!!

Thank you! I couldn't figure out how to make the legs right, but your suggestion makes a lot of sense. Thank-you very much for the advice, I shall try that next time!! :)

Keep on going!

Try not to make the snout shorter, and move the eyes closer to the front, even though it's a matter of preference if does make a difference.

With the legs, the more and more you have to exparement, the better it'll get :)

yeah, people are saying about the legs; I would suggest bending the front one the other way, as that's how animal's legs bend. But the sketchy style is nice, as is the colouring :)
