He held up her body and hugged her.
"No... no Selene! You're going to live! You're not going to die!...I love you..."
"Max..."
"Selene...?"
"I love you too..."
In the story, they were human NOT wolves. This was from my story (will post later) when a war between the assassins and the army. Selene was trying to save Max but then she got shot in the arm. The Assasin's had to flee, but Max looked for her. He found her laying on the ground and he tried to help her. He held her tight and sat with ehr for hours. She finally spoke and they left to camp. They then became boyfriend/girlfriend.
(SPOILER FOR PART 2!!) Their Assassin parents didn't approve of their relationship and tried to break them up.
