STAND FOR THE SILENT

STAND FOR THE SILENT

There was a man. Kirk Smalley. He visited our school. He looked like a simple guy. Ordinary. Only, he wasn't. His son had commited suicide after being suspended. Want to know why he was suspended? Because he made the second hit to a boy who had been bullying him for two years.
The family had a plan to go on a hunting trip. Their son died only weeks before the hunting trip. Kirk and his wife went anyway, for their son. They vowed to bring back a buck for him. And a buck they did. They got the biggest buck they had ever seen. A man donated his time to make two beautiful blue glass eyes for the dear, as shown below.

There's more than that. There was this young girl. Seven years old. Seven. She threatened to kill herself because a boy in her class threatened to kill her on the last day of school. The worst part, she knew how she was going to do it. She had it all planned out. She was going to climb up her dad's shelves and grab his gun. It's horrible when a seven year old knows how she's going to kill herself. It's messed up.

So, a man founded an organization to Stand for the Silent. Him and his wife started this in the 2010. They've gone far with this organization. They've been all acrossed the U.S, and have even met Obama. Even better? Lady Gaga is all for this organization.

Yes, it is. People don't realize how bullying affects not only teens, but children as well.

And yeah.. I was balling during the whole thing.. I got a lot of hugs.

I'm not so active here anymore but I do still return daily even if it doesn't seem like it ^^'' I've made some brilliant friends on the website that I'll never forget even if I've never met you face to face, especially through JBDs. However things have changed over my two years here and I miss what it was like.

Update: How was it been 4 years since I joined?!?

The fact that someone could ever say something to upset a child this much is really sad... it makes me want to cry. Pray for these people.

It is really sad.. As I said, I was balling during the thing. Like, hysterically. I usually don't cry in public. Actually.. I don't recall me ever crying that hard anywhere. You'd understand if you were there.

(Even highschool boys were crying)
