The markings have an interesting tale of their own, on the top floor of the building in which I work; there is an exclusive office with one of the elevators being allowed to go up there. I often deliver caterings and didn't really notice the lovely marble around the elevator the few times I went, though upon my visit about two weeks ago it inspired me for a whelkon and knew it just had to be done. Problem? Not able to take camera's where I work, so I sort of 'felt the design out' to what I remember. This is the best example I have to it, but it does not shine a light to the marble at my work.

▪ Name Meaning:
His name is Latin for "the performance of a marbled shadow". Now let me explain why I chose to name him this way. Yesterday evening I went to watch Stomp. Now we're sitting towards the top of this humongous theater. The stage looks tiny compared the the rest of the theater. During some of the numbers, the lighting caused the performers' shadows to appear on the wall. The shadows followed the performers' every movement. They were part ofthe performance. And when I saw these huge shadows on the walls, right then and there in the theater I thought that that would be my inspiration for the form for this amazing Welkon.

▪ History:
Obeunti was born into loving family and wonderful "herd". Both of his parents were extremely beautiful and handsome, both rare in design and had been heavily desired by other Welkon. It came as no surprise to anyone that their young well shared their beauty and rarity.
Growing up, young Obeunti learned from his parents how to act and whatnot look for in companions and such. he behaved as ifwe were above everyone else, and he certainly believed so too. He grew into a cocky, arrogant, stuck-up, bratty, conceited and vain Welkon. Yet he was still desired by the Welkan and the envy of most Welkon. He flirted with all of the females, and only accepted the Weldon who were beautiful or handsome.
One day he met an absolutely beautiful young Welkan. She had an icy blue coat and gorgeous eyes. This was the Whelan destined to be lucky enough to be his mate. But no matter what he did, what pickup lines, compliments, flattery or charm he threw her way, she basically crumbled it up and threw it away.
She had seen enough of Obeunti to know what he was like on the inside. Hideous. Ugly. Dreadful. Unbearable. She rejected him, and showed him who he was.
Obeunti, who's ego was hurt and bruised, watched his life collapse before his eyes. This Welkan had ruined his life.
He left that night and spent years learning about himself and finding out who he truly was. He began to transform into whatsoever to be a completely different Welkon. As time passed, became as handsome beautiful on the inside, as he was on the inside.

▪ Personality:
Obuenti is now a kind and kindred soul. He is patient and calm. He only judges Welkon based on their character and how they are on the inside. He avoids his reflection as it reminds him of what he was before. He is loyal and kind, and enjoys to make others smile. He is however a little reclusive and is often found sitting next to a tree by himself. He only talks to those he really trusts. Obeunti is very protective of tnosehe loves and would eminently risk his life if it meant they had the chance to live.

Okay so each piece of art shows a different part of Obeunti.

This first one represents his present, and how his appearance reminds him of his old self. He is saddened over the fact that his reflection only shows him his appearance, and now he can't see the present version of himself.

The second one is his past self, where he's trying to impress the welkan.

The last one is his transition from past to present. Half of him is wisping away to something new, whereas the other half has already changed. Noticed how is past self in art number 2 is smoother whereas the present in 1 and 3 have a more rugged feel/look to them. However this transformation is metaphorical, not literal.

▪ Personality: Boris is a very, very curious Welkon . He craves discovering new things, and is never satisfied. Boris loves high places most, and can often be found resting on a high hill that overlooks a large portion of land. He can also be very mischievous; he's got a surprising good talent at plotting things out. This Welkon generally likes to keep to himself and not be too involved with others, and no one really knows why. He certainly isn't a shy, and doesn't like wasting time or sleeping in too late, for that matter. He's also got a fascination with humans, and likes to quietly observe what they do while he's making his way through a populated area.
