Story:
Clouded vision, pained hooves, legs that were seemingly giving up hope. She paused, her head dropping low, her breathes coming out in short gasps.
No, I must go on. I must. Stumbling blindly in the ever darkening clearing, mist clouding her vision, the humidity causing cool droplets to form upon her thin pelt. She lifted her front left leg, only to have it drop. Her entire body haunted, deteriorating with exhaustion. She couldn't do it. She couldn't make it. She slid to the ground.
I'll rest. Just a moment. I'll continue.. in the..morning.. Her eyes shut, and her breathes deepened. Sleep overtook her weary soul.
A light tickling feeling brushed softly over her back. She twitched, but didn't move otherwise. When it continued pestering her, she lost her patience. "Would you stop already?!" She growled, opening her eyes, and glaring at the thing that was pestering her, yanking her from her sleep. Her blurred vision gradually cleared, and instant guilt filled her grumpy bones. The face was bewildered, the golden eyes wide, the ears laid back against the fluffy mane. He was obviously stunned, stunned silent by the sudden uproar of anger from a Kirid he didn't think was living anymore. She muttered, quietly, "Sorry..." She gradually lifted, gracefully, to her hooves, peering around the clearing. Mist still hung in the air, but it barely went past her knees, unlike the night before where it was far above her head, seemingly. Her bright, pale blue eyes were captured upon the Kirid that had awakened her in such an aggravating manner. Now, it was her turn to be stunned silent. His dark, blue coat shined perfectly in the dull sunlight. His golden eyes seemed to reflect the golden rays brightly, beautifully. His coat was dark, and blue, not black or gray, but blue.
"What's your name?" He suddenly asked. She was snapped from her trance, and she replied,"Uh.. oh! Tuli, Kalpea Tuli. What's your own?" He grinned slightly, "Sininen Kuura, at your survice, Kalpea Tuli." She looked him over one last time before asking, "What are you doing here?"
"What all Kirid do here. I'm looking for the one."
She could relate, no matter how much she didn't quite want to, she could. her entire life she had said she needn't the love, passion, care of a human being. She needn't their guidance through life. No, she was her own soul, free of the confinements of a human companion. But, as she went on through life, her last remaining companion, Kultainen Aurinko, had finally given up his life of freedom, and had ventured to Mist Valley, the place he had never returned from. The place he left his Kirid companions to find the love of his new human companion who had cared for him in Kalpea's loneliest year of her life. He said, kindly, "Would you mind if I showed you something?" She merely nodded, following the beautiful blue creature. She wasn't sure why. Of course she would never trust a male Kirid in less than a day before now. When they passed a thin part of trees, she knew exactly what he wanted her to see: a human. A human that ran to him with a smile creasing her lips. A human that caressed his nose lovingly, with the utmost care she had ever seen. A human that turned to her, and held out her hand, encouragingly. Kalpea went toward her, her muzzle slipping beneath her soft touch. That was when she knew she hadn't been thinking clearly her entire life. She needed this girl's companionship, care, compassion, and, most of all, her
love. Why I want her: I love her design, hence why I want her as a mate for Sininen!:D They are exact opposites, but, opposites attract.

This will quite possibly be the last I try out for.
