Moonstar saw that Silverpaw didn't like hunting, and couldn't get many fighting move down. Mosstoe asked Moonstar if he could lend his apprentice to him so he could collect some herbs. After that, Starpaw always begged his mentor to let him help Mosstoe. Finely, Moonstar changed him from normal apprentice to Medicine cat apprentice. Soon, his name got changed to star eyes, because he could see the future of some cats.
