He is Wanageeska, thew White Spirit.
I am privalaged enough to care for such a gorgeous creature, an albino racoon who was rescued from hunters. Because of his albinism, he has hearing and seeing problems, as is common for creatures suffering from albinism.
Seeing him was such an experience; he is a truly wild animal, no habituation to humans at all. And just looking into his eyes sent chills down my spine.
This was particularly hard to pull off because my carpal tunnel is flaring up, and this was an experiment to see if I could still draw with the brace on.
This piece was partially inspired by Christy "Goldenwolf" Grandjean's piece "Spirit of Gold" because of the spirituality of the piece.
