Story:
Achilles walked around underneath the silver moon that gleamed against his dark coat his eyes matching the color of the stars that brightly glimmered in the sky. He had been walking for awhile now, his ears gently twitching from side to side as he listened to his surroundings. His vision was impaired by the darkness and the trees that made the swamp seem more dense than the usual nighttime shadows. He stopped almost instantly as he heard a twig snap behind him, his head rising and his ears perking up as his tail swished from side to side. "Who's out there?" The stallion called out with his spine-chilling voice wondering if maybe another stallion was looking to challenge him. He heard a small growl from behind bushes which made him curious since it was unlike a cougar's but more deep and intimidating. He stomped the ground letting the creature know he wasn't afraid of what was about to jump out onto Achilles' flank. The creature broke skin on his flanks, making him grunt in pain as he tried kicking up his heels to make the monster release his now bleeding flesh. The animal was cat-like but larger than a cougar coming up to the lower part of his stomach the head to his shoulder. Achille's ears had gone flat against his head ready to put up a fight with the big cat, snorting as the cat hissed and pawed toward his muzzle. He flew his head back dodging the animal's sharp claws from catching his face, but the second time the cat had clawed his left eye. He neighed out in pain but reared up to scare the creature away from him, coming down hard on the ground almost smashing the cat's front paws. It fled from where the stallion was into a lighter part of the swamp, its colors were flaming orange with black stripes. He shook his body feeling the blood run down his leg from the wound, he wondered how a tiger could have escaped the zoo walls without being caught. Achille's walked back to a cave where he had felt more safe in, laying down as he fell asleep exhausted from the attack he had just encountered.
