I'm standing there, looking out at the sea. It's dark, there's cliffs all around. I feel a tug and look down, and there's a little girl. Her father's gone, she has his eyes, my hair, and she's only six. I don't know anything more than this: She's mine.
This is a nightmare I've had a number of times. I trusted someone deeply, then they left. They were dead to me. I had this nightmare again last night, and now when I think of it, I think of the quote from Catching fire. "My nightmares are usually about loosing you." Well, I don't know how to confront this fear, but I guess I came up to meet it. Often in this dream I'm collecting clams on the cliffs to sell. Maybe I'll make it a story. Probably where the husband is a Selkie. I always think of that when I see this. Comments and crit would be welcome since this is my first!
