Adventurous & Courageous:
Always looking for something new to do, Almira won't hesitate to go off exploring. In fact, it's one of her favourite things to do! She's very inquisitive, and its not rare that her curiosity gets the better of her. Almira is very brave, and when something catches her interest, she all but throws caution to the wind.
Determined & Stubborn:
Once Almira has set her mind on something, it's nearly impossible to deter her. She is extremely stubborn, and won't sway very easily. That being said, she isn't a completely close minded wolf, and is open to new ideas. Almira is also very determined. Once she has started something, she won't give up, no matter how hard the task.
Enthusiastic & Friendly:
Almira is often very excitable, and always knows how to put a fun twist into the most boring of things. There is very little that can ever dampen her mood, and she's known for her very high energy. She can keep anyone one their paws! Although it is rare that she does take the time to relax, she does enjoy it, and likes to hang around a river bank, under a willow tree. Almira is also very friendly, and simply loves meeting new wolves.
Intelligent:
Almira is very intelligent, as well as very curious about the world. She loves to learn, and will always take the opportunity to learn something new.
Loyal, Devoted, & Protective:
Despite her usual care-free attitude, Almira is actually very devoted to her duty. She takes the job of guarding the lands of Ladonia very seriously, and would never let anything get between her and her duty. Almira is also a very loyal friend, and will always stick by your side, through thick and thin. When she cares for something, or someone, you'll know! She's extremely protective, and won't let anything that she loves be harmed while she's there!
Honest:
Honesty is very important to Almira. She simply hates when others lie, and it can take quite a bit of time for her to forgive someone who has lied to her. Almira believes in telling the truth, even the most painful of truths... In her opinion, a lie simply grows more and more painful over time, and it's simply better to tell it right away, no matter how hard.
Leader:
Almira has many attributes of a strong leader. Although she is usually care-free and very much child-like, she can be quite a leader. She knows how to keep her head about her in a situation, and doesn't panic easily. If the situation demands it, she can also be quite demanding, and her determined nature always drives her until she's managed to resolve the situation.
Sarcastic:
Almira has also been known to be quite sarcastic; especially when she annoyed. Though, she still enjoys making a little quip here and there to tease her friends.
History:
Almira's history isn't much of a story, really. She was born on a warm, summer night in late August. Despite being so late, she was born healthy, and the only Myst in the litter. In later years, her mother also spoke of glowing fireflies dotting the grassy fields and a full moon hanging above the trees, casting a beautiful glow across all of Ladonia. Almira's next few years of life were quite uneventful, full of the simple pleasures of a young child. She played, she ate, she slept; all without a care in the world.
As she became more mature, she was taught the ancient duty of the Mystics; to guard the land of Ladonia, and all those within it, from the cruelty of the worlds beyond. It was in these years her father disappeared. It was quite a strange occurrence, really, as he simply disappeared without a trace. Both Almira and her mother were heart broken, and Almira vowed to one day find her father, no matter how hard the quest. In the following years, though, her searches were deemed futile, as nothing connected to her father's disappearance could be found. Although her vow still burns true within her, Almira eventually stopped searching as insistently...
Grown to the beautiful Mystic she is, Almira never stopped adventuring and exploring the world, nor did she lose her child-like playfulness. Kind and considerate, she respects all the living creatures of Ladonia, and protects them with heart and soul. As she grew, though, she became more and more curious as to what lay beyond Ladonia; of the worlds they kept Ladonia separate from. She never had ventured further than her own world, and although she wouldn't, for fear of being outcasted for betrayal, a strange curiosity still burns within her.
What lies beyond Ladonia? Could her father have disappeared into this 'other world'?
Why you want her:
Well, first off, I simply love the species. I just recently discovered this adoption thread, and this will be the first Mystic I've tried for. Above that, though, I love her colours. She's simply stunning! Her personality, and likes, are all things I thought connected with her design. In the future, I'd like to use her for art (Practice. As they say, practice makes perfect! xD Perhaps I'll finally start getting the hang of drawing on the computer. >.>) and perhaps writing and role playing.
