Lines for the little fox-ish creature to match the original line work, developed background, stronger color contrast... stuff like that would make it more refined.

Oh. Well you could have just drawn the lines over the coloring of the fox, which is very cute, but this entry isn't qualified since it was sent in after the deadline.
