What is a baby Dragon?
A baby dragon or a BD is a little dragon, about the size of your average house cat. Unlike every other dragon. These never grow up. They are babies forever. They always come in Pairs, or in some cases Triplets. if a baby dragon is born alone it is said to suffer from "Lonely Syndrome" where it mopes around and follows anything that moves. In these cases, BD's are sent to live in groups in BD care centres.
Aww! How long will they live for?
Bd's can live for an average of 100 years without changing its look at all, (although as it gets older its colours may fade or dull).
Where do they come from?
They are bred in a place where no other creature has ever been before. Called Beadie (spelt differently than BD) it is thought to be in the clouds as BD's have a soft spot for cotton wool and tend to eat it and sleep on it and feel and home with it.
Can they breed?
Strangely enough, yes. But only very special BD's can. They need to born with a Golden Necklace to be able to breed. If they have the Golden Necklace (they may not always be wearing their necklaces) and they breed they normally produce an even number of babies. The babies then seperate off in to twos to live their lives. (Baby numbers ranging between 4-10)
When a female is Pregnant it will have its base colour in a big glow around it and an announcement will be made.
Pregnancy will last a day or so.
Whats this about "triplets"
Some times (normally when a mother has an odd number of babies) they team up in a three, meaning you get three BD's instead of two, when getting two custom ones you may end up with a third, who will have another design for you. This is also pretty rare. When you order your custom you won't know if you will get three until you see them.
