*yap, yap.* *Yap, yap, Yap yap.* *Yap.* Lacey shifted in her bed, those little dachshunds were at it again. "Why do those little dogs have to bark all the time," Lacey thought, "if you can call that barking." She raised her head and let out a single, deep bark and the two little Dachshunds fled from the room. Lacey sat for a moment in the silence that now filled the area, and once she was satisfied that she would no longer be disturbed, she laid her head back down to finish her nap.
(I have two Furry Paws Dachshunds so I thought I'd include them in the story.)
