What is a "Sota"?

A sota is a canine-deer hybrid. They have long ears, small tails with fluffy tailtips. Their front legs have hooves, the back legs having moderately big paws, with soft but sensitive pads, generally used for a combination of stealth and speed.
They are mostly about the size of a german shepherd, but can grow to almost the same size as a small pony. Their weight also varies, depending on where they reside - If it's warm, they would need barely any fat, in order to be able to survive without dying of being overheated. In cold places, they would need to have generally a good amount of fat & fur on them, so they don't freeze to death.

Where do they live?

It depends on the exact type of Sota. Some live in warmish temperatures, others in isolated, cold places. Some use certain areas for breeding grounds, though - Migrating back to their homeland after staying in the grounds to raise their young.
It also depends on their choice of fur colors or markings, but some can't define exactly where they have been born or lived.

The Color Palette/s

The colors of a Sota are usually very bright, but there are other occasions where their fur is naturally colored, or more natural-looking colors with a compilation of markings, sometimes darker than the fur itself. Pastel colors are more common, like green, blue, pink, yellow, purple, teal, and generally other light shades of colors. Or, to put it more simply, pastel colors. The lighter colors usually work well with dark shades, such as black or very dark hues of the same colors.

Adopting a Sota

Adopting a Sota is generally pretty easy, as they are free, and all you would need to do is fill out a form for one.
For custom Sotas, you would need to give a brief description or an image or two, in order for us to be able to try and aim close to what you would like.
