Waking up from a bad dream Jackel looks around him. The same familiar bed and warm bodies of his brothers and sisters comfort him, and bring him back from his awful dream. Gently stepping over each body Jackel comes to the edge of the bed, and hops over onto the cold wooden floor. Quietly he walks to the doggy door, and makes his way into the back yard. following the familiar, well ground path Jackel breaks into a run and heads to woods and further to the small lake where his favorite moss covered rock was.

Stepping onto the moon washed rock Jackel looked up to bask in the light of the moon, only to be blinded by a bright unnatural light.
"hurry and grab that mongrel!" a strange voice called out.
Jackel hearing dogs growling, and a strange human chasing after him, Jackel ran as fast as he could toward his home. Jumping sticks, logs, and rocks he bounded through the woods. He could hear the dogs behind him drawing in, and he tried to run faster. Now the house was in sight, but the strange dogs just kept getting closer.

Four...three...two...Jackel hit the ground with all his might on the last bound, and flew through the air toward the doggy door. A set of jaws about to close around his back leg...."BONK"

Jackel looked up to see his siblings looking down at him on the floor.
"Jackel you silly thing, you just knocked over that can with your foot!"his mother laughed.
It was all just a dream, "phew" Jackel sighed and laid his tired body back into his mothers bed and fell asleep.

{Personality:}
Jackel is a strong and intelligent wolf, winning his armor for defending a wolf pack Alpha's daughter from a rabid wolf. Now he strains to win the paw of that female, but has yet to prove himself more than the house pet he use to be.
{History}:
Jackel comes from a small house by a woods and pond. Jackel grew up in a litter of six, and always dreamed of leaving the house to become a real pack wolf. Looking mostly like his dad, Jackel was proud to be the strongest and fastest of his siblings, but comforted even the runt of the litter. Taking closely to the runt, Jackel thought of her as his favorite sibling.
{Poem}:

Upon his face, lies a steel mask.
Keeping him free, of all that causes all to suffer.
He longs to be, what is seldom reached.
And longs to love, what has never been touched.
