Yes, it's a strange name. And really doesn't have a meaning, I don't think. But I think it's a cute name, and would mean 'adorable' if it did have a meaning. And this chilico is definitely adorable. I also think that this little one looks like a Gus, the name fits. <3
My family has recently taken in a little kitten, and we were actually thinking of naming it this. But then we figured out it is a girl. .3.
So this name has a little bit of a sentimental value to me, as I still jokingly call the kitten Gus.

Name meaning/why it was chosen: When he was born, this Chilico was smaller than his peers. Not drastically, but small enough for his size to be noticed. His father joked that he might be 'pocket-sized', and the name stuck. That's how he got his name. I chose it because his design is so sweet, coupled with his fluffiness, that I can imagine him being tiny, even though this species grow to the size of timber wolves.
