Help?

Postby StarHorse » Sat Jul 21, 2012 1:13 pm

I know the drawing fails, cant draw people. >.<
Basically, I am getting a tablet, confirmed. But I don't know what kind to get! Ive heard good things about Bamboo and Splash tablets, but if you could be so kind as to fill out this simple quick form if you have a tablet please do >.<

Code: Select all
Username:
what kind of tablet do you have:
Do you recommend this tablet?
Does it support pen pressure well?:
Other:

I'd also like to know what system I can use to make my drawings truly transparent, like when I make something small on oekaki it still shows up as the whole page, just a clear BG rather than a white one. I want something that makes it small!!!!!! Please recommend.
Thank you! <3

what kind of tablet do you have:Bamboo Create and Bamboo Connect
Do you recommend this tablet? Yes, both of them are great.
Does it support pen pressure well?: Yep! But Chibipaint doesn't like pen pressure very much, so you might want to use another program.
Other:

Also, to make pictures transparent, you take the image URL and paste it into the IMG coding. It will say something like: size=large&format=auto&rev=1 at the end. To make it trasparent, change the 'auto&rev=1' to 'png'.

To change the size, change 'large' to 'small' or 'medium'.

Thank you! <3
I'm having trouble working with Gimp a bit- and paint isn't very accessible- but I'm trying :3
And I know that, but thanks :3 The thing is, it only makes it transparent. But it doesn't crop it. >.<

what kind of tablet do you have: Wacom Bamboo Fun CTE450K
Do you recommend this tablet? Yes~
Does it support pen pressure well?: Yes~ If you're planning on using it for oekaki, you need to download an application that enables oekaki pen pressure, though.
Other: It's the old Bamboo. I've owned two-- my first one lasted 2 years and then the cord messed up, so I bought a refurbished one for #1b92e75 and it has done me well for about 4 or 5 years. ♥ I don't plan on buying a new one any time soon. It also comes with a full version of Photoshop Elements 6 for free (and some other programs).
I'm back. :^)
