gotta love my alter ego c:
(there's some stuff I want to fix but I guess I'll do other refs first ^^;)

How did you do the background?

I used 2 layers for the background.

on the bottom layer is a plain blue background, in which I used a texture to make horizontal stripes of a slightly lighter color

on the top layer, I used Effects> Noise> Render Color. I set the layer on Vivid Light with 50% opacity c:
