Sad light.

Postby not.human.at.all. » Sun Jul 15, 2012 4:25 pm

“Why do people have to be this lonely? What's the point of it all? Millions of people in this world, all of them yearning, looking to others to satisfy them, yet isolating themselves. Why? Was the earth put here just to nourish human loneliness?”
― Haruki Murakami,

Inspired by the song Pour More Oil by Her Name is Calla.

Vent. I lost someone not too recently. I loved them.

Comments are really appreciated.

They're running outside And they're telling me There's been an accident Somebody do something quick But what can I do when the deed has been done? I'm so full of pride That I took you for granted And never said, "I could use someone like you," Now I can't get it out of my head Pictures of you crying, They make me cry too I'm losing my mind when you telling me I was an accident I've got to do something quick And how can you stand there and call me your son Am I so full of pride when you tell me That this wasn't worth it And I'm only wasting my breath I can't get it out of my head Sounds of you trying to get my attention But I stood, I stoop up when you called And I held out my hands when you told me to And I saw you were hiding when I spoke your name But if you won't wake up

I don't want to wake up
I don't want to wake up
I don't want to wake up at all
I don't want to wake up at all

Oh wow...

I don't think I've seen a picture like this ever in the CS forums...
This is absolutely... Well, inspiring I must say.
I love the detail, and yet washed out colors. The simple drag of the shoulders and the suggestion of a greater sorrow.

The lighting is gorgeous, and the background is simply... Well, to put it lightly, amazing. I don't think I will ever tire of looking at this piece.

It really shows the sorrow of loosing a loved one, for which I am deeply sorry. I understand that pain, as do most people I'm sure, and I truly feel sorrow over it. I hope you feel better someday about their death.
